Sidebar - The Most Critical Factor

Let's address something that can too easily get glossed-over. It's the notion of 'quality content'.

Too many people - including myself - have fallen into the trap over the years of almost completely dismissing the importance of the actual 'quality' of an article in favor of just focusing on keywords or search engine optimization techniques for for favorable search results indexing. I used to nearly disregard Matt Cutts'  (of Google's webspam team) repeated recommendations for us to just focus on creating great content. I was under the mistaken impression they were really just trying their best to get marketers to stop employing search engine optimization (SEO) techniques & tricks to rank articles high in the search results. But, man was I wrong.

The Benefits of Content Strategy

I've found out that the better the article is that I write - combined with some proven content marketing strategy, the more easily found my articles are. And when I say 'more easily found', I mean to say the more people find my article positioned favorably in the search engine results pages (SERPs). Having good content typically results in inbound links to your content. Think about the value of others creating backlinks to your articles. Each backlink helps your content get found.

Learn from my own trials & errors. I recommend that you write really good content. Don't think that default PLR (Private Label Rights) articles, spun articles, or lightweight articles are going to get ranked well. Typically, they won't.

Combining your quality article with proven content marketing strategies can have your article standing-out in Google, Bing, Duck Duck Go, and the other search engines. Think: Easier to find.

Just don't get concerned about how to write a quality article. I'll show you in other articles on this website the tools and techniques for streamlining the creation of great articles and getting them found to drive traffic to your website.
